US pay stub generator — self-prepared payment records
Generate a self-prepared US payment record for W-2, 1099 contractor, or owner's-draw income. The document is in USD on Letter paper. All plans are billed in USD.
What a US QuickStub record covers
QuickStub supports three US record types. W-2 records include illustrative withholding lines for federal and FICA. 1099 contractor records include gross contract pay and a 15.3% self-employment tax estimate. Owner's-draw records document transfers from a business account without payroll withholding.
The US tax lines are estimates — they use the applicable rate for the classification you select. They are not withheld amounts and are not filed with the IRS. Use your actual filed return for the final figures.
US records require a state selection. The selected state triggers any itemization hints for that state — for example, California's nine required wage-statement items — but QuickStub is not a payroll system and does not guarantee that a state agency or reviewer will accept the record.

What QuickStub does not provide for US records

- Statutory payroll filing or withholding remittance
- Exact tax amounts — figures are estimates, not filed amounts
- Guaranteed acceptance by any lender, landlord, or agency
- W-2 or 1099-NEC IRS forms
Honest, legitimate use only
These templates are for documenting income you actually earned. They are not 'fake stub' tools. We don't guarantee that any lender or landlord will accept a self-prepared document, and we don't recommend submitting one without supporting evidence like a tax return and bank statements.
Pair this record with your filed tax return and bank statements when presenting it as proof of income.
Frequently asked questions
What US record types does QuickStub support?
Three: W-2 employee, 1099 contractor, and owner's draw. Each changes the visible line categories and any estimated tax lines.
Is a QuickStub record the same as an employer-issued pay stub?
No. A QuickStub record is self-prepared. It does not come from an employer, payroll provider, or government agency.
Are the US tax figures exact?
No. The 15.3% self-employment tax estimate for 1099 income and the illustrative withholding lines for W-2 income are estimates, not filed amounts. Use your tax return for final numbers.
Does QuickStub file anything with the IRS?
No. QuickStub does not file tax returns, payroll reports, W-2s, 1099s, or any document with the IRS or any government agency.
What should I pair with a US QuickStub record?
A tax return and bank statements covering the same period. Those corroborate the record; a self-prepared document alone is weak evidence.
Will a lender or landlord accept a QuickStub record?
QuickStub does not guarantee acceptance. Each reviewer sets its own requirements. Pair the record with a filed tax return and bank statements.
