Terms of Service
Last updated: June 21, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of QuickStub (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
QuickStub is a self-service tool that generates pay-record documents (PDFs) from information you enter. QuickStub is NOT a payroll provider, payroll processor, accountant, tax preparer, lawyer, or financial advisor, and does NOT verify, audit, or guarantee the accuracy of any data you submit or any document the Service produces.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for safeguarding any account credentials and for all activity under your account, including activity initiated by a sign-in link sent to your email.
3. Lawful use and accuracy of inputs
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawfulness of every value you enter. You represent that information you provide truthfully reflects your earnings, draws, or contractor income. You will not use QuickStub to fabricate, inflate, or misrepresent income, to impersonate an employer or person you do not control, or to deceive any lender, landlord, employer, insurer, court, or government agency. You will not use the Service in violation of any law.
4. License to the output
Subject to these Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, QuickStub grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the PDF documents generated for your own records and lawful purposes. QuickStub retains all rights in the underlying templates, software, and branding.
5. Fees, billing, and auto-renewal
Pay-per-document pricing and subscriptions are billed by Polar Software Inc., our merchant of record, in U.S. dollars unless otherwise displayed at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed interval until you cancel; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and does not refund the current period unless required by the Refund Policy. Plans described as unlimited are subject to a fair-use limit published on the pricing page; documents beyond that limit within a paid period require additional credits.
6. No professional advice
Tax figures shown in the Service (including self-employment tax estimates, federal/state withholding estimates, and YTD figures) are illustrative estimates only, not tax filings, and may not match what an employer would actually withhold or what you owe. Consult a qualified tax professional before acting on them.
7. Warranty disclaimer
THE SERVICE AND ALL DOCUMENTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output is suitable for any specific use.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickStub's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event will QuickStub be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
9. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QuickStub and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your inputs, or your breach of these Terms — including any claim that a document you generated misrepresented your income or was used to deceive a third party.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including suspected violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (fees owed, warranty disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, governing law) will survive.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. YOU AND QUICKSTUB EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. You may opt out of arbitration by writing to support@quickstub.app within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
