Germany earnings record generator
Generate a self-prepared German earnings record in EUR on A4 paper. QuickStub supports three record types for Germany. All plans are billed in USD.
What a German QuickStub record covers
QuickStub supports three German record types: employee, contractor, and owner. Each shows the applicable lines. Employee records include gross pay, wage tax (Lohnsteuer), solidarity surcharge (Solidaritätszuschlag), church tax (Kirchensteuer), and social insurance contributions (Sozialversicherung). Contractor and owner records use a simpler set. You enter every line yourself.
QuickStub does not compute wage tax (Lohnsteuer), social insurance contributions (Sozialversicherung), or any other statutory deduction. The app shows the lines for the selected record type. You enter the figures, and the document records them.
A QuickStub earnings record is not a statutory Entgeltabrechnung. Under § 108 GewO, employers must provide employees with a pay statement in text form when wages are paid. That duty may not apply when the details have not changed since the last proper statement. The statement comes from the employer or payroll system, not from QuickStub. QuickStub is for self-prepared income records only.

Honest, legitimate use only
These templates are for documenting income you actually earned. They are not 'fake stub' tools. We don't guarantee that any lender or landlord will accept a self-prepared document, and we don't recommend submitting one without supporting evidence like a tax return and bank statements.
Pair this record with a tax return and bank statements covering the same period.
Frequently asked questions
What German record types does QuickStub support?
Three: employee, contractor, and owner. Each changes the line categories in the document.
Is this a statutory employer Entgeltabrechnung?
No. Under § 108 GewO, employers must provide employees with a pay statement in text form when wages are paid, subject to an exception when the details have not changed. A QuickStub record is self-prepared and is not issued by an employer, payroll system, or any German authority.
Does QuickStub calculate German wage tax (Lohnsteuer) or social insurance contributions (Sozialversicherung)?
No. You enter every wage tax (Lohnsteuer), solidarity surcharge (Solidaritätszuschlag), church tax (Kirchensteuer), and social insurance contribution (Sozialversicherung) line yourself. QuickStub does not compute any statutory German deduction.
Is billing in EUR or USD?
All plans are billed in USD. The earnings record itself is denominated in EUR.
What paper format does a German record use?
A4. German earnings records are generated on A4 paper, consistent with the DIN standard used throughout Germany.
What should I pair with a German QuickStub record?
A tax return (Steuererklärung) and bank statements covering the same period. These corroborate the record.
